HERCULES, the hero of legend

Hercule's bludgeon is the emblem of the city of COLMAR. According to the legend, HERCULE would have misled his bludgeon during a journey in the region. But in the fact, why would not be it not the bludgeon of the emperor COMMODUS? Marcus Aurelius Commodus

Been born to Lanuvium in 161 - died in Rome in 192 Roman emperor (180 - 192). Son of Marcus Aurelius, he abandoned the military politics of his father. The extravagances (he became identified with Hercule) and the cruelties were worth her being murdered.
