The pupils of the college Robert Schumann of Volgelsheim inaugurated June 30, 2008, the frescos that they achieved to liven the walls of the station of Colmar. All along the school year, about fifty pupils of the college of Volgelsheim worked on the theme of the train.

The pupils and their professors worked on an important project, the realization of twelve frescos for the station of Colmar. This project was the object many preparatory works, realization of sketches, survey of the perspective, discovered of artists and movements of the painting.

For their twelve pictures, the young artists were inspired by very famous painters like Picasso, Kandinsky, Miro, Matisse, Magritte, Seurat, The Douanier Rousseau, Andy Warhol, Arman, Klee, etc.
